2006 Visions of the Sacred Auction
October 22 to November 19, 2006
The 2006 Visions of the Sacred auction begins Sunday, October 22, and ends at midnight, Sunday, November 19 EDT. There are two ways to bid: either online or by viewing the photos in person at the Solanus Center and dropping your bid in the "bid Box" at the Center. The Solanus Center is located at 1780 Mt. Elliott in Detroit; phone (313) 579-2100, ext. 203. Viewing hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, seven days a week.
Click here for map to the center.
Those preferring to bid online, click here and please browse through the images and select the ones you would like to own. If your bid is the highest at the end of the auction, your new photo will be shipped to you. You can pay by personal check or with a major credit card. There is no limit to the number of photos on which you can bid, and there is a $5 shipping cost for each photo purchased.
First, take a trip through this gallery of inspiring and thought-provoking images. View them all at once or one at a time, and read the thumbnail sketches describing each photo.
Good luck and remember: All funds raised through the auction help feed, clothe, and provide spiritual nourishment to Detroit's neediest people.
